#Syria : Free activists, media & humanitarian workers arbitrarily detained or abducted for their work http://free-syrian-voices.org #freeSYvoices
Human rights defenders, media workers, medical and humanitarian workers are arbitrarily detained in dire conditions as a result of their peaceful activism or their humanitarian work in Syria. They have been arrested by government forces and pro-government militia or have been abducted by one of the numerous non-state armed groups.
A group of international human rights NGOs (Amnesty International, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Network, FIDH, Front Line Defenders, Human Rights Watch and Reporters Without Borders) has gathered factual information about these cases on http://free-syrian-voices.org
