Iranian women’s rights activist goes on hunger strike to mark 100 days of arbitrary arrest

A ban preventing women in Iran from attending sports events that men attend was introduced in 2012. Ghoncheh Ghavami was arrested for staging a peaceful protest against the ban at a volleyball match in Tehran.
