Explosives set off at home of Peruvian journalist who reported on local corruption
In the early morning of 10 December 2013, the home of journalist Edvan Ríos Chanca was attacked with an explosive device that destroyed the house’s door and windows. The journalist had worked at the newspaper Correo in Huancayo, where he frequently reported on alleged acts of corruption by the regional government.
