The Foundation for Press Freedom (FLIP) has released a report on press freedom violations in May and June 2002.
The report highlights the following attacks on freedom of expression:
Journalists killed: Two
Kidnapped: Five
Exiled: One
Threatened: Six
Media Outlet Threatened: One
Moreover, a number of freedom of expression violations by the armed groups are noted in the report.
