According to a Diario Tiempo article, the projectiles hit the perimeter wall, as well as the main entrance of the TV channel’s reception area. A report from investigators and the immediate response unit of the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation said the casings found at the scene were from a 9mm caliber gun.
The paper also reported that some of the Channel 11 employees crouched to avoid the bullets, while others were able to find cover in their vehicles. When the danger had passed, they were able to see that the shots had been fired at wall, as well as the visitor’s entrance.
A similar case was recorded by C-Libre on 5 November 2011, when armed men shot at he offices of La Tribuna newspaper, injuring a security guard.
