RSF is reiterating its call for the immediate release of leading Cameroonian journalist Amadou Vamoulké, in prison on trumped-up charges since July 2016. He is due to appear in court on 4 December in a trial already postponed 14 times in a row.

Cameroonian authorities detained Patrice Nganang as he attempted to fly to Zimbabwe from Douala. His lawyer told CPJ that Nganang is being held on accusations of offending the president in a Facebook post.

Prosecutor requests death penalty for RFI reporter in Cameroon
