Sunil Jayasekara, journalist and convener of IFEX member Free Media Movement (FMM), has received death threats. Join the Twitter campaign now to support him!
Jayasekara has received anonymous death threats related to a press conference the Free Media Movement (FMM) held on 26 July to condemn the government’s role in cancelling a workshop on digital security for journalists.
The threats came before, threatening him with death should they go ahead with the conference, and have continued.
