Burkina Faso’s media has taken the audacious step of lodging a formal complaint with its counterpart in Mali against independent Malian Joliba TV News station.
Burkina Faso’s media regulator accuses “Voice of America” of demoralising troops in the country and neighbouring Mali through its “Washington Forum” programme.
The 4 Burkinabè journalists – Atiana Serge Oulon, Alain Traoré, Adama Bayala, and Kalifaré Séré – who disappeared within a month, are well known for their critical thinking and reporting.
