(RSF/IFEX) – RSF is protesting the deliberate shooting by Israeli troops of
a journalist during a Palestinian demonstration in Ramallah (West Bank).
According to RSF’s information, on 7 December 1998, Adda Oushpiz, a
correspondent for the daily “Ha’aretz”, suffered leg injuries from rubber
bullets fired by Israeli troops during clashes with Palestinians.

democracy, where journalists should be protected to do their job without any
physical threat
of the rule of law are taken to court and convicted accordingly
