Three journalists from Macedonian (Republic of Macedonia – FYROM) A1 TV station were denied work permits for TV crews by the Greek authorities and not visas, as stated in the 6 June 2005 SEEMO press release for Greece, because these were already issued. The work permit is a prerequisite for any foreign journalist, who wants to work in Greece. However, this does not change the basic problem of restriction of free movement of journalists and the violation of freedom of expression and press freedom.
