Lebanese journalist Ali Diya, a correspondent for the French news
agency Agence France Presse (AFP), the Lebanese daily “As-Safir”
and the Lebanese television channel Future TV in the part of
southern Lebanon under Israeli occupation, remains in detention.
He is reportedly being held in solitary confinement. The Israeli
security services are refusing to specify what charges have been
brought against Ali Diya or to reveal where he is being held. They
have not allowed him to meet a lawyer or receive visits.
