reporter with the Japanese daily “Mainichi Shimbun”, was deported from
Rangoon because he had entered Burma without a journalist’s visa. According
to the Burmese government, Satori Fujita “intentionally broke the
regulations concerning visas” and provided “false information” in his
airport arrival document.
