December 1997 in Gbarnga by one of President Charles Taylor’s Security Units
while returning home from
the funeral of slain opposition leader Sam Dorkie. His whereabouts are unknown.
Forkpa Nyenkan, managing editor of “The News” newspaper, was arrested in
Monrovia
on 22 December 1997 by police. He is currently being held at police
headquarters
without charges.
