Meanwhile, the passport of Dr. Olatunji Dare, who was arrested
and released in early June, had his passport returned to him on
17 June. It had been seized at Muritala Mohammed International
Airport in Lagos, where Dare had just arrived from the United
States of America. Dare is the former chairman of the editorial
board of “The Guardian” newspaper and taught journalism at the
