this action has been taken to stop him from staging activities
commemorating the 7th Anniversary of the 1989 Tiananmen Square
demonstrations.
Recommended Action
Send appeals to authorities:
served against Wang Xizhe
conditions of parole which limit his political and civil rights
be removed, and that there be an end to the campaign of
harassment against him
pattern of harassment and intimidation aimed at stopping Wang
Xizhe from practising his right to freedom of expression, as
guaranteed under Article 19 of the United Nations Universal
Declaration of Human Rights
