The ECOWAS Court of Justice has authorised the payment of USD15000 each to Hassan Kargbo and Mohamed Fornah, as compensation, for the violation of their right to security during a police crackdown on a July 2022 demonstration.
Sierra Leonean journalist Chernoh Alpha Bah has faced an onslaught of online harassment and death threats over the last 4 years.
Mohamed Morlu has been awarded $25,000 as compensation for injuries he sustained during a police crackdown on demonstrating students in March 2017.
