Four journalists are convicted for their reports on sexual assault allegations at the country’s public broadcaster.
If convicted of spreading false news online, Comoros journalist Oubeidillah Mchangama faces up to 3 years in prison and a fine.
Two senior journalists – news director Binti Mhadjou and editor in chief Moinadjoumoi Papa Ali – at the Comoros public radio and television broadcasting station, have been suspended for their coverage of a recent strike.
